    It's just his name, which is kind of regular in Germany. The guy is an albino and his eyes can't stand daylight, so that's why he wears sun-glasses all the time. Don't (wanna) know about his shape though.

    His style of music is called 'Schlager' a German description for hit/chartbuster, which is a vocal variant crossover of polka waltzes and tigh slapping tunes, or a slower 'bluesy' version thereof.

    Other big artists include Freddy Breck, Vicky Leandros (who was from Greek origine) and dozens of others.

    This is, after it had its highlight in the seventies, still very popular in Germany and Holland.

    Sonically it compares to no other genre. It was a punishment back then but reached kind of a cult-status (similar to ABBA) among generations of (drunken) students afterwards.
