One of the best affordable floorstands

5 Stars from What Hifi and Hifi Choice
    i) "An exceptionally detailed, smooth and rich sound".
ii) "Power, punch and subtlety, these Mission have got it all" - The Mission M73s are incredible value floor-standing speakers.

The best thing is that these floorstanders are very easy to drive (90db, 8 ohms) – a 30w integrated is sufficient.

    Condition

As you see in the photos, the condition of the speaker is very good. It has been well-taken care of in a smoke and pet free environment and is only coming to two years old...

    Specifications

i)Spikes are rounded on one end (for wooden floors) and spiked on the other end (for carpeted floors)

    i)Power Requirements - 25 to 100 watts / channel amplifier

    ii)Sensitivity – 90db

    iii)Nominal Impedance – 8 ohms

iv)Drivers - 25mm sheer micro fibre dome / 160mm bonded woven glass composite cone

    v)Magnetically-shielded and rear ported

    vi)Frequency Response – 48 - 20,000 Hz

    vii)Dimensions - 850 x 200 x 305 / 14.5kg per speaker

viii)Can be filled with sand but this speaker was never filled

    Sound

This is why I bought the speaker after auditioning so many others. The tonal balance is very balanced and it is easily driven by integrated amps. It sounded clear and refined in comparison with the competition. Many floorstanders can only be properly controlled if you buy a power amp (otherwise there is either insufficient bass or a lack of control over the bass). That's a great plus for this speaker.
