    Hi,

I have for sale a Monarchy Audio SM-70 stereo class A power amp in good condition.

It has just one scratch on the lid but apart from that it is so little used it is probably not even run in yet - seriously!

It is zero feedback and pure class A. I think it is 25watts a channel. It can also be run bridged.

I'll get a picture of the actual unit in the next few days.

It was about £600 new so am asking only £sold.

    There's nothing in the Garden,
and unless I'm losing my sight,
there was nothing again this morning.
It must have been there all night.

It's hard to see a nothing
    or even where its been.
    This was the longest nothing
    That I have ever seen.

I locked all the drink in the cellar
so nothing could get at the gin,
but by skwonkle o'clock in the evening
    nothing had got in!

So I bolted the doors and windows
    so nothing escape,
I called for the local policeman
who was armed with a helmet and cape.

    'I hear there's been a break in
and you have lost something of worth.
    Can you describe the intruder?
Yes he looks like nothing on earth!'

    :)

Does this signal the end of the diy speaker project?

Not at all, it is well on track! This is a spare amp I had but I need some cash to get a more suitable amp for my speaker project.

What did you end up with?

This is still for sale, and still an excellent amp! I am amazed it has not been snapped up to be honest. Where else can you get an amp of this quality ;)

I'm amazed this hasn't sold....... sm70's are wonderful amps. Pure class A and very solid build, with a really rich sweet open sound quality. I used one for a couple of years, my brother described it as "like a cross between a sudgen and a baby krell". If I hadn't gone to 300b SET, I would snap this up=)

Simon's timing's out. I would have bought it if I hadn't started my DIY project.

No, a Gainclone:D. Just waiting for an enclosure. You wouldn't believe how difficult it is to find a simple aluminium case for a reasonable price. Finally found something in HK and awaiting it's arrival.
