hi there, need some expert advice

i have 4 sets of speakers all wired up and ready to be plugged into my sony hifi amp (old one) - it has A/B speaker outputs so I can connect 2 sets of speakers

how can i connect all 4 sets of speakers up to the amp? can i get a splitter of some kind?

    thanks

you could just twist the cable together at the amp end
(make sure you get +ve and -ve the right way round of course!!!)

your amp will be working like a son of a bitch to power both speakers, so it will probably struggle.

If its set up for A or B speakers, Id personally keep it that way and have one set playing at a time.

Hope I havent mis-read the post?
    Cheers
    Chris.

Another alternative if you dont want to go that route is to attach a second power amp.

This is easily done as Im sure you know if you have a pre-out..

About whether the amp would pop or not if pushed too hard, well I guess that would depend on the speakers your using, the amps power, and the type of protection it has/hasnt got... if youre worried about wiring the cables together then I wouldnt get a splitter cable. Its just the same thing.
