As Britain has the highest number of teenage pregnancies in Europe, I am sure there are plenty of 35 year olds with 17 year old daughters. I read in the paper today that there are 14 year old girls requesting fertility treatment in the UK because they have not conceived after 2 years of sexual activity Unbelievable!

 

I googled to her fansite to find a decent picture of her . I wasn't "hanging around" it

Well, I'm definitely old enough to be her father - but she still looks pretty stunning (although less so with her hair down). I never was that impressed by Kournikova though - so definite improvement all round!

Sad Martina (the real one...not Hingis) didn't manage to beat Billie-Jean's record though. For me she was the greatest female tennis player ever (or at least in my memory). I only really caught Billie-Jean at the end of her career, when politics seemed to be as important as the tennis, but it seemed to me it was Navratilova rather than her who took women's tennis from the slice-dominated genteel patacake game of chess (no disrespect to Goolagong/Cawley, Court, Bueno, Casals etc. who were also great players) to the exciting and varied game we have now. Watching Chris Evert, accurate and hard-hitting as she was, was only marginally more interesting than watching the grass dry.

I seem to remember when Chris Evert was playing, and I for one wasn't looking at the grass, but her ass, she had loverly legs and just kinda did it for me, she was a stunner, and very feminine with it. Never been interested in womans tennis since she stopped playing.

 

Just curious as to how you rationalise that statement. Why is it ok for someone under 30 to fancy a 17 year old but not someone over 30? What happens on the day that you turn 30 that makes it wrong? If you believe that someone who is only 17 is "too young" to be found attractive then it's true for anybody, (of any age - 18 or 80), thinking that way, not just people over a totally arbitary age limit.

Beauty is beauty. It isn't defined by age, despite what adverts like the recent Virgin Airlines one would have us believe.


Personally I'm glad she won, I've never liked the way Serena Williams plays.
