Dont know if its the cheapest by my friends hired space in a container going to OZ and they said it was pretty reasonable but dont know how you go about it.

When I did this (to NZ, but the principle is the same) by ship, in a container was best - big container (volume dictates price, not weight) stick all stuff in it - well packed - and away you go. Crate is checked and sealed by you so nothing goes missing.

Oh - contents of 5 bedroom house + a Mini Mayfair (don't ask!) was four grand 10 years ago.
You can get a quote from Anglo Pacific or many other international removers.

    Hi Dreftar,

How much stuff are you moving, volume estimate? My wife is English and we moved her stuff via Crown, probably not the cheapest but when you are only talking 3 or 4 m3 of stuff that you value, the cost difference probably isn't that great. Crown were excellent we thought, but l am going back 12 years now :)

Be sure to join us on www.stereo.net.au once you get moved. What part of Oz are you headed to?

    Cheers,
