    Hi.

I have two discs with MP3's on them.

One disc has 2.62gb on, the other has 4.25gb.

They are for playing in the car.

Unfortunately, they dont work in my posh new MP3 equiped car cd player :'(

My best guess is that they may be DVD-R? Anyone know how to tell by just looking at them?

Also, can a CD-R hold 4.25gb? - If they ARE DVD-Rs, I was thinking of burning them onto CD-R (which the player can play)

    Cheers
    Chris

chris, a cdr is max 700 mb (an 80 min cd). so they appear to be dvdr's. (there should be a logo somewhere, no ?). in any case, yes as you say, you can take the data and burn afresh to cd-r's.
