Musical Fidelity A5 Power Amp

MF A5cr power amp wanted to partner my A5 pre, packaged and shipped to Australia. Must be in good condtion, preferably with original box and manual etc.

Hi,

I have a Musical Fidelity A5 Pre and Pwr Amplifier for sale. Both are in immaculate condition and come from a child free, non-smoking home. I also have the original manuals and packaging. I am selling due to down sizing and simplifying my system. I am away from home with work at the moment until 25 Mar however on my return I will be more than willing to email you photo's and further details. Off the top of my head I believe they are less than 2 years old, I will need to check the receipts to confirm this. I am looking for around £700 GBP each.

Thanks Nando, I have been trying that for the past six months without luck. That is how I bought my A5 pre but I can't find a power amp from a dealer. There are quite a few on E-bay but people for some reason won't post to Australia - they will post to Europe etc but not to Austalia ??? I don't understand because they do not pay the postage and I would have paid more than what they sold for !!! The worst thing is that I have just had to frork out $ 250 to have my old NAD C270 repaired because I can't find an MF. Anyway, the search continues.......

Would like to know how you go. Sounds like you've been looking for quite a while, without any joy.

I recently bought a MF A5CR Pre, and I just love it. Currenly hooked up to a Rotel 1080, but would love, like you, to get my hands on an A5 Power.

I had no idea this was going to be so hard !!! Does anyone know how many A5 power amps were made ? There seems to be more A5 pre amps than power amps out there - reflected in the difficulty I'm having finding one compared to my pre. As they say "It won't happen overnight, but it will happen !"
