    SOLD.

Near mint A5cr combo for sale, call it 9/10 for safety. I'm looking for £850 firm for the power amp, and £595 for the pre. These are excellent performers and come with original boxes, pre with unused remote, etc. I don't have pics of the power at the mo, but it is in the same condition as the pre. I can take snaps and send them if you are interested.

Well here they are still. Any interest out there? I might ebay the pre in a week or so (should I ever get the hang of the site) because I really never use it and it's a waste of good equipment, but frankly I'm happy to keep the power if there's no takers at the price offered. I've gone hi-eff, so a tooth shattering beasty is unnecessary for me, but I still put it through my AN-Es from time to time because it sounds quite lovely, and I just know if it goes I will come to regret it when the valves inevitably go wonky on my main amp.

    Hi Jazid

Are you willing to send it to Adelaide Australia ?
If yes, how much would be shipping cost?

    Regards
    Rudikka

    Hi rudikka.
No probs at all sending to Aussie, subject to clear receipt of funds here first of course. Shipping has to be at your risk, so insurance seems sensible.

I have just done a quick search on transglobal.org.uk that throws up figures of £125 odd for both pre and power together via UPS or (don't even think of it...) DHL...£1k insurance is max from this site for which add £20.

For just the power amp (heavier in same size box) the figure for UPS is £86.50 plus £20 insurance for £1k.

Figures go up from here to £300 or so, but I can't see what extra you get for that. Delivery seems to be a few days.

I have previously been offered figures around £200 for similar stuff so this seems pretty decent, but I have no experience so could be way out. If you can find cheaper then rest assured I am not trying to make anything on shipping and will work with whatever we find that you are happy with.

If you are interested pm me and we can move this on, but please note I am away for the weekend so if I don't hear before friday midday I may not get back to you till monday/tuesday latest.

    Cheers
    Jazid

Pre is sold subject to receiving payment. Power still on the shelf.

As soon as the pre is sold for definite I'll swap the pics to show the (excellent) condition of the power amp.

Here's some pics of the power amp. It is an easy 9/10. There are no discernable scratches, marks, or paint chips on it, except possibly extremely light marking on the back plate.

I am having trouble managing my photos but anyone interested can ask and I can send them. The rest of the amp condition-wise looks like this, and it works perfectly.
