    Looking for anything Musical Fidelity right now, up to about £700 (including postage, preferably). Pre/Power/Integrated, it's all fine.

    May consider spending a tad more if you have something special. Only thing I am not keen on is the (old) A/B series (I mean the A1 etc, I would VERY much like an A1000, A3 or A5 series), anything P270 times onward is fine.

    Although I am a new member, I can provide eBay and iTrader feedback to verify myself.

    Thanks,
    Darren

    I have been offered one for £795 brand new in it's box, so I will take that into account in my offering. How long is left on the warranty?

    A3.2 amp on offer

    Hi Darren,

    I am also a new member and I have a A3.2 Musical Fidelity Amp I would like to sell. I live in a non smoking house and it is very good condition apart from a small scratch on front left hand side. I would rather have it collected from my house so I could give a demo and could get cash for it. I live in South London. I would like £550.00 for it. Please let me know if you are interested.

    Thanks- Warren

    Aah, I know. I just read "MF a 3" as "M3" for some reason.

    Okay, so it's an A3, does it come with the box/remote/manual?

    For price comparison: http://www.2ndhandhifi.co.uk/amplification/musical-fidelity-a3-dual-mono-amplifier/

    I think their price is every so slightly high, so I'd not be able to offer any more than £450 for the 3.2, to price it fairly, judging by what they go for on eBay etc. Collection wouldn't be possible as I live in Glasgow :(.

    MF Vintage setup

    I am using currently a quasi-Vintage MF setup, all components in very good functional and aesthetics conditions, as follows:

    Source: 1 x MF CD, ELEKTRA series E-600;

    PreAmp: 1 x MF Pre, ELEKTRA series E-200, fitted with MF optional MM/MC Phono board (specific option for the Elektra E-200, inserted in the rear face, with full and very complete MM and MC configuration accessed from the outside);

    PowerAmp: 2 x MF Power, ELEKTRA series E-300, used in a bi-amp configuration.

    Ready to consider sensible offerings for an eventual selling.

    Items location PORTUGAL (Lisboa).

    Had a look about, I don't think these will deal too well with the direction I'd like to go speaker-wise, plus I imagine the postage from Portugal being a bomb :(.

    Can't find the delete/archive thread button.

    Got myself a factory-mint A3 integrated for £300, so I'm sorted for an amp. Thanks for the offers everyone :)

    Yeah, guy's wanting a fortune though, £895 wasnt it? A factory-condition A5.5 went on avforums two or three weeks ago for £750 and he barely got it sold!

    My little A3 arrives tomorrow, can't wait! :)

    Hi, I have a perfect A1 Integrated amp. It was modified by John Samson (ex Musical Fidelity) a few years ago - a lot of component replacement, single piece heat sink and vented side plates. There isn't a mark on it. I now own an MF A1000 and the A1 just sits in a box under the bed which is a shame. Loved this amp for many years and looked after it. I'm not sure just yet what a fair price is, but if you're interested please let me know here and we can talk about it. Thanks.
