    Hi Jeam,

Looks like quite a nice system you've got!

I've heard the NVA AP20 some years ago and was very impressed.
The best standmount speakers I've ever heard in my life were PENaudio's!

    Hi Alco,

Jep, after I've had some Royd and Naim loudspeakers. Penaudio speakers are the best I ever heard. The same for the NVA amp, sound's much cleaner than my Naim nait 3.

You've heard the Pen's at Rinsma I think?

    regards,
    Jeroen

Yep, it was at Rinsma
It's been quite some time since I visited Rinsma I must say.

    Here's a pic of a PEN' Rebel, I once took at Rinsma's:

Too bad they're so narrow and deep.
With those dimensions only the original (and imho ugly, too tall, and wobbly) stands fit neatly under it.

To me they look much better on the PENaudio 'subwoofer-stands', but sound better without 'em.

At Rinsma the PEN's have a lot of space behind them, but then they sound absolutely great!
A huge, deep, spacious soundstage in which the speakers completely seem to dissapear.
(bass is also mighty impressive, cosidering their size)

    Another bummer is...the price! :(

The Rebels are pretty good VFM at around 1400,- euro. (if memory serves me well), but I think the Charisma's cost about 3200,- euro's/pair! :(

    Greetings,
    Alco :)

    Hi Alco,

It was about 6-7 years ago I visit Rinsma. Since he modded some stuff I don't like it anymore. Bought my Pen's in Finland from a nice guy of Nokia. The sound very open, deep and spacious!
The prices here in Holland are grazy I think.

    Regards,
    Jeroen
