I have stuck all my LPs on a database and decided to present the information as a web page.

If anybody is interested here is my collection of LPs which I started building around a year ago.

I have far more CDs than this but have decided not to catologue my CDs as it would take for ever.

BONEY M!!?!?! Barbara Streisland!?!?!? (I'm with the Southparkateers on that one) - send for the men in white coats...

...ah hang on - there's loads of Joy Division and New Order stuff - and also T'Pau's and Tanita Tikaram's firsts - I think you've redeemed yourself there then :)

The Graduate's a great album isn't it? Mine's on bloody thick ancient (and smelly!) vinyl - 50p in MVE London :)

I shouldn't take the mick re Streisland though - I've got some shocking stuff in my vinyl collection, including Nu Shooz' Poolside (I loved them in 1986, just finally found this last weekend!), Andrew Lloyd Webber's Premiere Collection and, err, Cliff Richard's Small Corners (I loved this when I was five - some Christian rock is pretty cool in a cheesy way - like Why should the devil have all the good music?).

Oh - and I also own a Marilyn (as in Boy George's "mate") 12 inch - got as a job lot off a mate (together with some breakdance stuff - well cool - some ace electro in there - like Whodinni's Haunted house of rock - on green vinyl!).

I'm struggling with the star things: S&G's Wednesday Morning get one star, whereas the not entirely dissimilar Graduate soundtrack gets 4 – how can this be? Even more bizarrely Joy Division's Love will tear us apart (one of the best singles ever made) gets 2 stars where Vengaboys' Boom Boom and Simply Red's Home (some of the worst music ever made anywhere by anyone at any time in history) get 4. How T'pau can get 5 stars in any allegedly sane scoring system beggars belief ;)

Yeah I thought that star thing may cause confusion! The stars are the condition of the record itself rather than how I rate it. However I think I will add a second feild in the database for how much I actually rate for the song.

For example I would rate Vengaboys (which I got free) 1/5 and Love Will Tear Us Apart 5/5. My love will tear us apart single is knackered you see.

Again Barbarah Streisland is only in it because it was very cheap. I've just come back from my favourite record shop and they have just got loads of New Order stuff in, I shall quite a lot of that.

P.S Yes Love Will Tear Us Apart is one of the best singles ever made, I'm just amazed it didn't become a multi million seller. Mind you if it the song would not be at all as special.

Its one of them club smahers, you know if Love Will Tear Us Apart is played the dance floor will go wild.

I've got the Streisand album you mention on CD and vinyl, as well as T'Pau, so am guilty of some shocking stuff too :D

A bit of non-related trivia here - Michael Hutchence of INXS went to the same school as me - King George V in Hong Kong!
