No, the plinth came with it, the previous owner made it. It works but looks a bit DIY.
So i think its of to layers of beauty for a new one. But as I've only owned belt driven TT its like a breath of fresh air!

Right so dont risk the sound if you are happy and clad the existing plinth in acrylic, if you want shiny, it will just glue in place. Any colour you want even pink :D but black mirror finish would look really cool. 3mm or 5mm sheet with polished edges, if interested PM me and I can put you on to someone who will do it. Obviously the only problem will be the top plate but the cut out will be the outer dimension of the TT plate and they cut by CNC so it is really acurate.

I can only say that Russ Collison does an excellent job and provides top-notch service for a very reasonable outlay.

    Show-off turned into jealosy? :D

Hi vincula, yes russ built my plinth for my TD 160 so he will be making the new plinth for the G99. The only problem is the cit out, hes done an 88 but not a 99 so im trying to find out if they are the same.

Am I missing something here? You have a plinth so you have a working example to measure and send to Russ.

Please note the smiley. It means it is what is known to most people as humour.

They just check the Kennel Club for unused names.

The Poncillion Ineluctable Modality, the Velociraptor Flatulent Locust Reference and the Incubator Grand Minestrone Wing-Wang Pretentious Sockpuppet Amethyst Vendetta Neologism Einstein Reticulated Flunge-rabies Denne Herre Betaler Turbo Special Edition Mk II are all still available, but Champion Hendrawen's Nibelung of Charavigne is taken, because it won Crufts in 1969.
