This isn't really going anywhere.  Look, I listened to the P5, I compared it to a well known "reference" TT in the same system, I liked it a lot.  It meets all my criteria and it sounds stunning.  So there are alternatives at a similar price that I might also like - so what?  There's no point in "doing a Nuno Baptista" searching for the perfect TT for my budget for months whilst I could be listening to music instead  .  I don't think I have any pro-Rega bias, I don't have enough TT experience yet to form a bias but it's simply the best and most convenient option open to me in my current circumstances.

Merlin - I'm back in London this evening and will be around this w/e but Saturday is already booked up with the visit to Julian's place but if you have time on Sunday or one evening then I'd be interested in a visit - PM me.
