    Sugden a21a, Sugden SDT 1 CDP , Sugden R21, Technics SL1200 , funk achromat, - awaiting Origin Live Encounter this weekend (sumiko blue point 2), Zingali Prelude 2's , Isolda all round - Phono stage , using the suggies but will get a good one soon, cant decide if i should go GSP jazz club or 834

    nice speakers... I always fancied hearing an SL1200, just to hear how it would stack up against something like a Clearaudio reference. I understand they punch weigh over their weight as they got the direct drive system dialled. Great set up.

    Thank you SMEagol, Mark Baker suggested I go the SL1200 route a couple of years ago, and I cannot praise the thing enough hence the new arm coming, used a modified RB250 before and that was a very good sound but cant wait to hear a note decay with the new arm coming.

    brown box..?

    Hi peez

    Can I ask what is the brown box sitting at the bottom of your hi-fi rack please? Is it an elderly tuner etc..? It's lurking there looking interesting ok!

    Of course you can, its my vintage Sugden stereo tuner, bloody brilliant sounding thing, £50 on ebay.
