    You'll have a bit of a problem new, because they're not being made any more it seems. They're rare as hens teeth second hand.

    I waited about six months for mine to come up, then grabbed it with both hands (before I actually had the money :) ) - you'll probably have to work a bit to find one, though obviously you might get lucky.

    Yes, I expected as much. Still, if I advertise that I'm looking maybe some poor sod who needs the money will sell me theirs!

    I've never had an amp with no tone controls before. What is the S300 like at low volume levels? Is the bass a bit thin until you crank it? When listening at moderate to loud levels I usually press the 'source direct' button on my current gear but at low volumes I do add a touch of bass. Opinions please..... :)
