    All,

I have a weird one here.

When I press stop on either the CD player or the remote control the CD comes to a dead stop as normal but in the process makes a single taping sound.

The machine has had a recent replacement mechanism so I assume that there isn't a problem with this.

At the moment appart from the tap sound. The CD Player is working totally fine. I hope that it is not going to go and fail on me.

    Any advice would be great.

    Regards

    Paul.

sounds like it might be a worn puck. try giving the little rubber bits underneath a bit of a pinch to make them stand out more. see if that helps
    cheers

Yea mine used to clunk when the disk came to a stop, a newer puck sorted it out.
