    Hi

A friend purchased some secondhand speakers and was given this cable , but they were not long enough for her , two cables approx 4 feet long biwire, does anyone have any idea what the cables are and how much they are worth.

    Thanks

What were the speakers as this may give a clue as to how old the cables are or what distributor or 'belief structure' they were from?

The speakers are ATC scm 12 - so mid range really , and I believe they like being bi-wired.

They look quite bling so probably a set of those Chinese sourced and built cables that keep popping up on eBay.

Why does it matter. Listen to them. If they work well with your system thats all that counts. Unless you want to sell them there is no reason to know.

If you read his post you'll see his friend has no use for them - too short. So is looking to identify them and find out their true worth.

Thanks for your help gents , what I have emailed to my friend is that the cable is probably an chinese import of ok quality , and could be good quality , but the question of its value is something of a lottery , they may well have been imported at a total cost of around £15 - £20 , so their second hand value is somewhat debatable and likely to be low.
