I guess it should - zanash messed it all up by having two films in the same question

Go on then...btw, my quote is linked to 2001 A Space Odyssey, because that's the one I guessed.

    You're a gent.

Now, there is a very definite link between this film and Aliens, and the quote goes something like this:

"Okay, Curly, you can't eat the blinds. I only had them installed last Tuesday."

That sounds as though it must be something that Sigourney Weaver said...at a guess Working Girl?

Nope. Although I said there was a definite link, I didn't say it was that obvious. A big clue: it's the soundtracks.

    Right on the nose. :MILD:

    Jerry Goldsmith composed the soundtracks.

    The floor is yours.

    As Good as it Gets.

Jack Nicholson would be the link :)

OK - I'll repeat my earlier quote which was unceremoniously trampled over before :D

A: Do you believe in God?
B: The question is does God believe in me?

There's a link to "2001 A Space Oddysey" and a rather tenous link also to "As Good As it Gets".

    Lolita.

directed by Stanley Kubrick who did '2001.
not sure of the "as good as it gets" link.

    try this one:

"Er, may I present Your Highness with some commemorative photos of your visit to Rome?"

big clues there, possibly a little too easy ? well that's also easy for me to say as i know the answer ...

There's plenty of Nicholson's portrayal of Jack Torrance in "The Shining" (also directed by Kubrick) in the Melvin Udall character - particularly the bar scene...

I said it was a tenuous link :MILD:

My Fair Lady - from the lips of the delightful Audrey Hepburn.

    The next film quote...
    "I pardo' you"
    - "Say it louder boy. When you pardon someone you want everybody to hear"

    Not Dr. Dolittle

Think "big Hollywood epic" in a Cecil B. DeMille stylee :)
