What was linkable apart from Naomi Watts? Even she wasn't that great because the only film I've seen her in is Mulholland Drive and that didn't have any particularly memorable quotes.

    well there were..

    lori petty - free willy

naomi watts was in the ring.

malcom mcdowell - hmm anything in the past 3 decades but
clockwork orange, star trek generations are probably most well known.

iggy pop - sid and nancy, hardware

anne cusak - grosse point blank

all of which have been in these films with actors of note (not just with other b-movie camera fodder that they arguably are)
i did have to imdb some of them though so i'm not going to argue too strenuously...

    cheers

    julian

also rachael talalay the director had her hand in a number of well known tv sieries such as ally mcbeal, band of gold, randall and hopkirk deceased and the enviable taks of the nightmare on elm street 6 film - i definately had to imdb this one!

Fair enough :) Allthough the Naomi Watts, Mulhollland Drive link was the only one to a film I've seen involving an actor/actress I'd heard of, and I wouldn't post a quote from a film I'd never seen.

And before you all start, no, I hadn't heard of Malcolm McDowell allthough his face is familiar I wouldn't recognize him. And no, I haven't ever seen A Clockwork Orange. I started watching it on video once and basically gave up after about 30 minutes. I just found it too disturbing to watch.

Yes - always been meaning to watch Grosse Point Blank but never got around to it. I've seen the original Japanese version of "The Ring" which was extremely creepy. Didn't want to bother with the Hollywood remake

Anyway, to get back on topic, here's penance's quote again:

A: God is on our side because he hates the Yanks!
B: God is not on our side because he hates idiots also

The film it's linked to is "Once Upon a Time in the West". Not too tricky this one methinks :D

    Here's one for you:

Actress A: "...but last night you said you loved me!"

Actor B: "Well, that was just pillow talk, baby!"

bif - just to let you know that in this thread you have to guess the previous quote to get the chance to post a new one :) ...and no Googling allowed!

penance, your quote is from "The Good, The Bad and The Ugly" - what did you think it was from

Actor A "In the next 15 minutes we have to create enough confusion to get out of here alive"

Actor B "right now you got me about as confused as I ever hope to be"
