    I have been adding to my collection of vintage tubes.
    The latest being a pair of National Union's. Great tube.
    They have now displaced the thus far much loved RCA side getters as the rear pair of input driver tubes.
    The NU's have even better bass and do not lose on the mids and highs either.

    The 1940's Sylvania Jan-... VT-231's are still my favourite input tubes.

    I am still looking for a pair of Kenrads as these are supposed to be the daddies of the bass.

    Yeah. I missed 4 of on Ebay for £125.
    Don't need 4 though. Will keep on looking.
