    Neat MFS PRICE REDUCED

I have a pair of piano black Neat Ultimatum MFS with matching stands for sale. I financed a local dealer's purchase of the MFS from the US Importer, but the dealer later decided to focus his business on SETs and horns. So, I received the pair back rather than repayment of the loan. The MFS have approximately 10 hours on them. They are as new, except I will have Neat replace a slate base for one of the stands that is blemished. I have the original packing crate for the speakers and stands.

This pair will come with full manufacturer's warranty according to the US Importer. The asking price is $4500 USD plus ship. The retail price is $7000 USD.

I'm surprised there is no interest in these speakers. Immensely capable, awesome reviews, and fair asking price. Am I missing something?

I'd have though £1750 would have been a fairer asking price myself.

Most of the members of this forum are UK based so I think few would be interested in buying a s/h pair of English speakers from the US (with all the attendant shipping and customs hassles) unless an absolute bargain price made it worthwhile.

FYI the MFS model sells for £3500 new (inc stands) in the UK, that's about USD 6650 at current rates.

Thanks guys. I was under the impression that with the weak dollar, it would be cheaper to buy them from the US. In any event, I'll likely revise my price.

You're right about the weak dollar, it works in your favour, not against. My brain was clearly not engaged properly when I posted earlier :shame:

Final Markdown: MFS and stands now reduced to $3350 (£1785) plus ship. I will keep them rather than sell them for less.

Heard them once at a show and they sounded stunning (which is saying something as most show setups sound crap no matter how good the kit is...) Someone should go for these.......
