Hi, BN. It's not that I won't change the components if they're not giving me what I want but I'd like to try alternatives first. As i've said, I liked the demo of the 125's with my system; the other differences being that the components were better supported and different cables were used. Given that the support for my kit is possible the wobbliest thing this side of a weeble, I'm going to give the flexi-stand a try and then cables, as these are an unknown quantity.

I do appreciate your comments and I do realise that it's difficult to give advice on something that someone earlier referred to as a 'black art'. It's also difficult for me to explain exactly what the problem is!! Aw, well!
