Picked up the new albums from Underworld and The Orb whilst on holiday. Both are real returns to form. The Underworld offering, "Oblivion With Bells" starts really strongly with the single Crocodile and the majestic "Beautiful Burnout" only to tail off to a lot of rather average fillers. Still worth it for the first two tracks IMO. The Orb's album, "The Dream" is the best thing they've done in years. In truth, Tim Bran's influence is stamped all over it, and it sounds more like a new Dreadzone recording than you might expect, but it's strong throughout, has some wonderful Wobble esque bass lines, and will really wake up a decent system. Both of these albums are also wwonderful recordings it must be said, only eclipsed by the recent Hot Chip Kraftwerk remixes. Anyway, recommended to aging dance and dub fans everywhere.
