Hi folks, I know this has been asked loads of times before, but here goes - I'm buying a nadc350 amp next week, this will be connected to my AV amp to drive my main speakers….but what interconnector should I buy..???
Say upto 40 quid..? Unless you can advise better…

Online shop would be better for me…unless you've got a good one for sale..?

    Cheers!:MILD:

you want a cable with decent screening for av-amp duties. Black Rhodium Rhythm or QED Qunex 4 spring to mind.

btw i can't remember if the c350 has main-ins, but if it has, use these to connect to front preouts of Yamaha amp

I would go with Van del Hul (The Bay?). I used to use QED with mine and found it a little bass heavy, but the VDH I have now has tightened things up nicely (I don't have mine connected to an AV amp though so can't give a direct comparison).

I'd get something with really good screening, probably copper for the signal itself.. I'd buy it off the reel for about a tenner, and I'd put some bullet plugs on.

I'd probably ask WM what the best off the reel cable is, or hippy if I was going to use something from the recording industry.

It might not be called ''super zarjaz alpha equinox topaz'' but it should sound as good ! ! ;)

If you want something appreciably better, approach timpy and WM with 200-400 quid IME.

Yep, if you're willing to give the DIY route a try, then have a look at Zanash's threads in the DIY section. I'm sure he'll be willing to give you any help and advice you might need.

Oh, and hope the amp works out well :)

Ecosse Maestro, they are really great int. cables. worth every pound. I changed all my usual audioquest phyton for this cheaper eccosse cable. Best buy.

Can't comment on AV duties, but VDH C5 does the business for me in stereo (Pre/Powers and Tuner/Pre).
