new PC

    Hi folks,

    got new PC for work, with Windows XP - but no Microsoft Office disc???

    Is there anywhere I can download Office for free?

    www.openoffice.org is a free alternative to Microsoft Office and is compatible with it

    Be aware downloading MS Office for free is highly ilegal.

    I use Open Office 2.0 for all my business duties and it is great.

    I too use OpenOffice 2.0 BUT it is not totally compatible with MS Office. There can be formatting problems with some documents when trying to transfer from one to the other.
