No aftermarket cable - no test.

Sadly this is true as the test will fail to be of interest to anyone if we do not use an aftermarket cable that many/most people can identify with.

It should be a cable that is reasonably widely sold/bought for its benefits - and "current"

Many of you would have seen the kind of flak a trial like this will need to take and being a largely subjective test, it is essential that all else is fairly robust in the trial.

I have already spent a bit of time on this and its design (thoroughly enjoyable thus far  until this  "lag phase") and am now a bit impatient  and fear  that  this might kill it.

I think that by now most of our members have had a chance to see  and take part in the discussion and if by monday little is forthcoming I think this trial should be abandoned.

Pity - I thought it was a good idea.
