I am really worried now. I have offered you an option for an easily disguised cable that is cheap, readily availble and of a design and construction that maximises the chance of having a difference detectable, as it clearly does a number of things very differently.

You promptly reject the cable on specious grounds, do you fear to set up a test that is meaningful?
