In short - Yes

It is not the sort of cable an average hi-fi punter is likely to own/buy/demo - not currently anyway.

Like I said it does not mean it will not work but it is likely to have little "familiarity" with the user.

I don't want to be re-doing this by improving on it each time , volunteers have agreed to give their valuable time and hence a set of cables more relevant to current hi-fi buying trends is likely to be better recieved  IMO
