    thanks for the link bottleneck

the thing is,there isn't anyone who makes any pro speaker cable ready made
and i can't diy to save my life :D

so as i have some spare money i thought i would just go down to my dealer
and hand over my cash for some nice pre-terminated speaker cable.

i have a pair of the "mark grant" i/c's and their great. if he did speaker cable
i would be the first in line to buy.

so what should i go for? chord,qed,br,wireworld....

what kind of terminals do you have? - can't they accept bare wire? - if so there's no DIY to be done.

In fact, I dont think I've seen any speaker terminals that can't take bare wire..

Michel do some banans that compress the cable and are of pretty good quality, you can get them from richers for about £5 a pair. pm lordsumit he uses them.

Id forgotten about those - I think Maplin do them too. They just use a small screw dont they to tighten on the cable?

    i did say pre-terminated!

all i'm asking is what "fancy" speaker cable should i buy for around £100?
if i won the lottery i would buy a very "fancy" car....not that i'd need one!

actually, just noticed theres some alphacore goertz 6ft lengths in the classifieds for just 50 quid.

The cable is I think £50 p/m plus terminations when new.

    Thats what I'd buy.
