Jesus! they look like the bastard offspring of an unholy union between the B&W Nautilus and the Blue Room Minipod - strange.

    Hmmm, I'm very tempted. :D

I won't comment on the likely effectiveness of a dual-walled enclosure with sand in the gap.

What strikes me is the "Zero Diffraction" claim. This is of course nonsense. A rounded enclosure can give a smooth diffraction step and minimise the combing effects that you get with a flat baffle. However a diffraction step whose frequency varies with size is inevitable.

Spherical enclosures will also introduce their own colourations.

These speakers may sound great but, personally, I'm going to insist on a listening trial before I buy them.

is nobody else shocked that he wants two and a half grand for them second hand?!?!?

To put it into perspective, you could get a second hand pair of Wilson cubs for that, or some apogees, any number of martin logans etc!!!

They look like a large pair of those noeb (wrong spelling?) speakers that someone got recently... except 5 x the price!

They're new bottleneck. This advert is from the manufacturers, hence my comments.

    oh!! I didnt realise.

From the photograph behind, it looks like a guitar shop instead of a speaker manufacturer...

    Maybe he does both (?)

I still think 2.5k on an unknown/unheard brand is a shitload... especially without as much as a review or an iota of press coverage...

Maybe you get a free Tokai strat with every purchase? :D
