Jeff recommended Von Schweikert VR1s and Tallis stands when he heard I had waf problems, and needde speakers that were able to go near walls, and were pretty much multi-directional,and low and behold,so I managed to get some s/h,with IfDesigns Tallis stands, for a good price

apparently,Albert, the head honcho at Schweikert, designed these speakers with waf problems in mind (might not have been waf, might have been more complicated than that),hence the need to go about a ft from the wall and fired pretty straight.Wife will be happy with the stands, they will be the nicest bit of furniture in our lounge.

so,some Audio Physic Sparks might be up for grabs at a silly price.Niel,Rewster has first grab(i owe him one) but he is currently wheeler dealing and may not want them.

this is the third pair of speakers to pop up here, and added to the interesting ones I heard (and saw) at the Scottish HiFi show (Living Voice expecially), I confess that I'm developing an uncomfortable itch, to add to my poweramp itch. So, OK, what model is this one? what's the sensitivity - 86db?
