new speakers

    Don't forget the Audio Physic Avanti mkIII - a little under £9k new, but I happen to have a mint used pair which I obviously think are the proverbial dog's danglies (but my wife wants the front room back...)

    Having heard big B&Ws, the Avantis have more detail and precision at the expense of a little bit of bass heft. Certainly better imaging and more transparent. Also beautiful looking speakers...

    Asking £4k or nearest offer. Prepared to consider part-ex (quality standmount would be best, something smaller to keep my wife happy)...

    actaually the spare cash hasn't quite materiaised yet. i'm optmistic it will.

    right now i thnk i'd appreciate the time to listen to listen to the music/kit i've got right now.

    the b and w's are tempting but are pig ugly and i think my rooms too small
