    Biwiring is a con.

    Any cables will do, seriously

actually I mean more or less, yes I have heard differences in cables, and the XT400 is a good buy
if you bought it. BUT most well made cables by well known firms will do a good job.

are 'interlinks' little cables to attach together the 4 speaker terminals on the back of the speakers?

If so, save yourself £80 and use little off-cuts of cable. You'll probably get some for free from a dealer. In my view, you won't hear a difference.

Actually, not a con if the speakers XO's have been configured to share a common earth wire.

For example, Tannoy say "the bi-wiring principle also continues the wiring philosophy within the xover of all Tannoy speakers in that all earthing points are star wired to the source terminal to prevent common earth paths......high frequency currents may be 60db or more down from the low frequency currents,..... which may easily swamp the HF signal at crossover unless bi-wiring is used."

But, yes, quite unnecessary with a large proportion of speakers.

well if they design a product badly in the first place......:)

From what I've heard biwiring makes no difference, and I can't
believe the people who have really expensive cables
    like Valahalla etc bi-wired.
