it appears that you do know more than nowt. and if it really is only picture quality that you want to know about then do check out the other forums I mentioned.

also, with AV, the A & the V are designed to complement, and with 5.1 material, 2.0 rendering just dont do it.

as for HDTV, its too early, unless you have money to burn, imho.

[Edit: and btw, its Ditton as in Celestion (circa 1975), not Wharfdale, altho they are no longer in main system]

Course they were Celestion, old age and senality got the better of me.

Dittons....were they the 2-way speakers with 2 front covers per speaker, with a bare midrif. If so, they were my first pair of real speakers for my first separates - bush TT, tuner and amp.
