New transport

Hi guys!

Im looking for a new transport for my TACT Millinium mk4.

So far:

Linn Ikemi (Yes i know its a int cd player)But can get a mint one for £320
Meridian 500mk3
An older Sony es.

Ok! But you can get a new laser for those models anymore.Im sure that meridian or Linn can.Or?

 

Linn may not sell you a new laser for the Ikemi, but others like CPC do.
Get the Ikemi, the transport is world class.

Do you know wich transport system the ikemi has?
Phillips or sony?

 

Would you consider a Teac VRDS T1?

Not really.Sofar i have had the vrds 10se/25x/T-30 not to keen on them.

 

I haven't heard it,what about a Cyrus CDXT SE as a transport,it's had some good reviews.
Didn't Know the Meridian 500 had got to MK3, I've got MK2 and it's not a bad transport,but really sings once you add Trichord Mods (Clock 4 & NCPS)

 

I bought a 588.24 to put me on while my CDX is repaired. Once I get the Naim back, the 588 may be up for sale if it's of interest.
