Does anyone have any they plan to do then?

Speaking personally I am a right fat bastard these days, so I'm gonna have to lose some of this almighty belly and get fit. I have a few niggling but small health problems (constant allegies, chronic heartburn) that I am determined to get sorted.

    What about everyone else?

    Get a better paid job.

It's gonna be twice as hard to double my cd collection again this year, which was last years resolution :)

    Ive got loaaaaaaaaaaaads.!

    1) earn more money (new commission scheme starting Jan, so this looks promising)
    2) when I get my new transport.... NO MORE HIFI BOXES! maybe a tiny tweak or 2 such as some DIY/paid component changes, but no more box swapping.
    3) have at least 1 foreign holiday, hopefully 2.
    4) eat better food
    5) personal stuff Im not telling u lot! lol.

hope everybody had a good x-mas day.
    happy christmas

Move out of the parents place, granted it's cheap living but it's a right pain in the butt as we live in the middle of sodding nowhere and the public transport is useless. So, getting into Exeter is a definite plan. Easy commute to work, everyone else lives there and won't be sat in every weekend bored.

Go to at least 2 festivals this year, probably Glastonbury and Reading.

Try and lose some weight as well, I managed to lose a couple of stone this year by luck more than judgement, if I can lose another one I'll be more than happy!

    yup,
start on the reduction of my enormous one pack.
buy a hi-cap and then stop buying boxes for the year
try to like classical music and broaden my musical tastes further.
get the living room into a state where all my cds, dvd's, books and documents are stored properly and not in the several aestheticly nauseating piles that is my current storage solution.
    cheers

    Put weight on!

Well as per usual I think I'll be contradictory and say that I would actually like to put some weight on this year. 8 stone is no where near heavy enough.

    Get fit.

Due to the job I do (scanning paper) I spend a fair amount of time sitting down all day. Then I go home and collapse in front of the tv/pc/hifi etc. Aside from a bit of walking during the day I get virtually no exercise aside from the odd bit of cycling I do at the weekend. So I'd like to start going swimming every other day after work. Of course whether I do it or not is another matter.

    A New job.

Certain changes seem to be a foot where I work. Its no longer the fun have a laugh job it was when I first started. There seem to be a greater influx of "muppets" (for want of a kinder term) and most of the decent people are leaving/talking about leaving/left. If it carrys on the way it has things are going to start going tits up with a great regularity. Oh and the pays shite (£4.95 an hour after 6 years). They have been very supportive to me when I've needed the help/time off (being disabled :( ) but after 6 years and the people they ares starting to get in, I think its time to probably start looking round for something else to do.

    Start Reading again.

Again partly due to the job I do I'm so bloody knackered in the evening I havent really read a decent sized book in ages. So I'm going to start getting back on track. Got plenty to get through as got given a couple of books for christmas.

    That should do it:)

8 stone is fine david. I should know!

Me... I want to get back into photography again.

Do more exercise. As a student, I walked a lot (was quicker than the damn bus), up to about 8 miles a day. Now I drive 90 miles round trip to work each day, and walk about 10ft. I used to race mountain bikes, hike mountains, play badminton for school/uni teams, etc.... for the past six months I've done zip...

Drink more water, stop drinking sugary stuff.

Learn to be a better, safer driver, and hopefully pass the Institute of Advanced Motorists test.

Open my eyes to some real life learning I've been wanting to do... when at school or university there is so much information being forced upon you that you shut other things out... I want to learn more about fine wine, good food, british wildlife, etc...

    1) Go out twice a month instead of almost twice a week (clubbing)

    2) Eat less junk food

    3) Spend much more on music

    4) Spend at least 10 hours a week in record shops

    5) Aim to visit every record shop in Manchester

    6) Aim to visit Rochdale (the only place in Greater Manchester I have never been too)

    7) Stop singing Joy Division songs in public and scaring the old days "day in day out,.... shit on the wall!!! she's lost control again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

    8) Drink less coca-cola in the effort to reduce my mad outbursts on zerogain

    9) Spend an entire year without going into Richer Sounds in Stockport

    10) Spend less time on the internet and world wide web

    11) Say oink instead of f*ck.

Stop worrying about my weight and accept that I'm a fat git.
Organise a 20 year school reunion
    Learn to say 'No'
Have more fun in my job or change it and do something different.
Stop procrastinating, and... I think I'll finish this off later ;)

If you moved number 2 up to the top of the list then I'm sure no. 1 would follow without too much effort:D

Bollocks - I was born blind and my eyesight's got better since I took up self help (at 8!!!). Erm...

    Right - my resolutions:
Get laid, frequently, but preferably with the same girl (got my eye on a few - must make a move on one!)
Get a new CDP (CD5i, Planet3, or something similar)
Go to two festivals (same ones as Ilockyer no doubt - Glasters is a no brainer!)
Lose 2 stone - I'm now about 6 pounds below my ideal weight, so that's too heavy
Go to Oktoberfest, the 'dam, and VooV music festival
Start saving for a full moon party in Thailand - ETA 2005!!!
Get my hair into a decent ponytail or something totally whacked out
    Get NOW4 on CD
Stop moaning about single mums and asshole-ym seekers
    Get to a bake off!!!!
    Swim regularly
    Ride into work more often
Start using the gym at work (I've been paying for it since November!!!)
Try to cut down on nefarious side orders when on nights out
START singing Joy Division in public (sang my arse off to Transmission when they played it in Timepiece last week!!!)
