I am not sure if this is highly biased but according to NME's readers Joy Divsion's Love Will Tear Us Apart is the best single of all time.

The Smiths, The Buzzcocks, New Order, Oasis, The Sex Pistols, David Bowie as make it very high up. I can't believe how much manc stuff is in there.

I am just slightly dubious that this chart has been complied by Tony Wilson, Peter Hook and Paul Morley.

i thought it would be something by the smiths. The NME never seems to dtop praising them!

As much as i like the NME i do hate it when they start preaching X, y or Z as the new best band ever! Hearing the said bands can be so dissapionting

Having said that, i don't think the libertines can do wrong, and like british seapower.
