No Picture from DVD player

    Hello,

    I am a new member, please excuse me if you think this is a bit of a stupid question.......

    I have a Yamaha S2500 DVD player, the RX-V2600 Receiver with Pioneer pdp436XDE Plasma - sound is travelling from DVD to receiver via Coaxial which is working..... however the picture which should be travelling via HDMI from the DVD player to input 3 in to the Television (Media Box) isn't being displayed!

    The DVD player has just come back from being repaired for another issue - Please Help..... I've started to get a bit annoyed with it!!!! :mad:

    does it have a scart output ?...if so see if its working using that method..

    Do you need to select the hdmi mode on the tv ?
