My Opera Consonance Orfeo seems to have decided to stop working.
    Only 1 month old.

The CD seemes to "play" , ie the drive recognises it and when I press play the numbers begin, but no sound.
I've checked the inputs on the pre amp, changed all the interconnects , nada.
Has anybody heard of this before?
    Ta.

A fault within the first month isn't good news. You have at least eleven months of warranty remaining, so if I was in your position I'd be returning it to the retailer pronto.

I've just emailed the importers, Alium Audio for their thoughts.
I'd like to think a replacement as only 1 month old?

Update: All sorted now, was just a loose connection, probably caused in transit., heavy handed courier i suspect!
Thanks to Ian at Alium for his speedy attention!

I no longer have my Consonance CD player, but I can add a recommendation for the service from Alium Audio - both Ian and his colleague (Peter?) were unfailingly polite and helpful.

All round good guys to deal with.
