I suggest you refrain from posting until you know what you are talking about. It is not paperwork it is the defined procedure that Freeman finds hasn't been followed. If their own rules aren't followed the cases must be thrown out as you would expect if it were you charged with any offence. I also would expect the police officers concerned to be subject to disciplinary procedures themselves. Does it happen?

Does your condescending style of writing come naturally or do you practise it at home when everyone else has gone to bed?

Anyway, it's not just procedures he exploits, it's the crappy excuses he makes up to try to give just cause for reckless driving, like 'she had a urinary infection', or 'he was depressed'. like somehow that makes it alright to drive at 40mph over the limit.

But, like I said (twice), I don't particularly have a problem with the lawyers, it's the system. :D

hmmm, i think it's a balance, rather than just hammering the 'rich' they should be encouraged to stay, spend and employ or they'll just feck off somewhere else and we won;t see anything. i'm not saying i agree with the current system or that it's a fair one. however it's slightly more graduated than just black and white.

Some of the other sites I frequent have a separate "politics" section so that people who don't mind the sometimes rough debate can choose to ignore it. Others have a policy of discouraging it altogether. I know it's difficult in a moderately-sized specialist community.

The UK is often thought of a tax haven and a country where it is safe enough to bring your family who can then shop till they drop without the fear of being kidnapped off of the streets.

Maybe we should try communism, instead of the nasty capitalist ways?

Even capitalism depends on people paying their share of taxes. Otherwise who' s gonna fund the police to keep your property safe?, who's to fund the military to keep your assets and investments secure? Who's gonna fund the infrastructure to get your products to market?
See? you haven't thought this through and just posted a glib and foolish comment-how embarrasing for you.

Especially when I was 'glibly' supporting your stance on non-doms and corporate tax dodgers! Maybe the irony was lost on you.
