Hello, could anyone enlighten me as to the qualities of the Nottingham Analogue Interspace turntable. I have been researching decks on the net but am unable to find a price or any reliable comments on performance for this model. All the stockists seem to bother with is the Hyperspace and upwards. Thanks. Ben.

I own one of these beasts. It sits between the Horizon and the Spacedeck in the NAS hierarchy but for some reason doesn't get mentioned much on the various internet sites. Priced around £600 I think - I use it with a Rega RB300. It whups the ass off a Rega P5 I know that much, and I preferred to a bog-standard old LP12 (i.e. basik power supply). Very stable, very quiet and just very, very right!

    This place sells them.......

No problem - by the way don't be put off by the marble finish. Mine is in piano black and looks as gorgeous as it sounds!

I second Ricky C`s suggestion of Audio Republic in Leeds, It`s not usually the tidiest of Hi Fi shops but Andrew Oliver the proprietor is a very genuine caring sort of chap who does a great job. Highly recommended

Ben, you should buy it. The arm itself is worth more than 1/2 of that on ebay!

Thanks Robert, I have sent you a Personal Message giving you my mobile phone number and the town I live in, would it be possible to come and have a look at it at some point? Thanks again, Ben.

ben, apologies, in fact i've been away for longer than originally planned.
do you just have the 1 record? i think to be prefectly honest the interspace may be overkill in your system, and if you truly do have 1 record, you're better off starting with a more budget deck and working up from there.
you can buy a project debut brand new for £120, that's a corker of a deck for the price.

if u are still interested in the interspace, then i'm afraid demoing at mine is also not going to be practical. do u have a friend's house that could be used as a demo room?
    regards, robert

mellstock seems u already have a spacedeck and spacearm, so i'm guessing the interspace isn't for your main system!
anyway, the 'space is the original design, with single arm config (current model can take two arms), and the space arm is not the current model, it too is an older design. the only "current" bit is the grado cart.
if ben passes, then i'll repost.

Hello Robert Cyrus, If I would have to sort out auditioning at a friends house then I will have to gracefully decline, and withdraw my interest in purchasing your turntable. Thanks anyway, Ben.
