    Hi Penance,

That album is not worth much. I think I have 4 or 5 copies knocking around the house. They can be picked up quite easy. I got mine from various record collection I have picked up.

I have never seen that go for much money on ebay but early cd version of the Now series can go for well over £20.

What's wrong with NOW 1? It's got some great 80s Mozarella on it like Culture Club and Kajagoogoo :) Plus of course Heaven 17...

Worth anything between 20p and £20 - whatever someone's willing to pay. I got mine for £1 in a charity shop and, while a bit crackly in places, it sounds fairly decent. If you or SCIDB have a copy that's almost silent crackle wise, I'd be interested... I've never seen NOW5 in good nick sound-wise on vinyl (crap pressings?) - that was my first pop tape - given to me by a neighbour on my 10th birthday - when I got my first "walkman" - a bloody awful Philips Skymaster 4 with no antiroll or rewind!

NOW4 on CD is the one you want if you want big £££ - £450+ on Ebay usually! Even NOW8 and NOW9 tend to go for upwards of £50 - I got BOTH TOGETHER for £13 in 1993....

Now, that's what I call expensive!

There is a NOW laserdisc knocking around as well - probably even rarer than the NOW 4 CD. I saw a copy on Epay recently and got outbid :(

Dom, if i can force myself to listen to it ill let you know if its crackle free.
Visually it looks OK, and the sleeve just has the obligatory wear marks on the seams
