I wouldn't have thought the fuel made any bit of difference whats so ever, the fuel is just turning a turbine which generates the electricity. I would imagine the quality and load of your local substation is far more important. PS as I am righting this I am realising that this thread is a bit of a micky take :p

Some argue that Diesel is the best fuel for HIFI though, providing you can find some where quite to put the generator so it does not distrub you're aurel pleasure.

you might laugh, but I've heard that Yorkshire coal has an adverse effect on bass extension (unless the kit is on Mana)

but you might be right,so what turbines are best then?

We all know that the transport makes a difference to the sound quality, how dare you suggest otherwise.

I have been buying some audiophile units of electricity from my local supplier and after a double blind test can confirm there is a 23% increase in sound quality.

Did a certain old exteronarie from Cumbria have anything do with that?

PS Its well known that B&Q mains cable makes HIFI sound better than the stuff bought from Homebase. You should also use goldplated screws

    Who's taking the piss?

Just because you had wine for tea instead of whisky for breakfast ...

Since you've given up the whiskey, get a petrol generator and have it converted to run on alchohol. Support your local distillary:)

is a petrol powered generator the purest form of electricity for my beloved system? Class A watts from a generator must be lovely

Hydro-thermal vent power is the best IMHO as it taps into the primal forces of the earth and allows the true nature of the music to come through. Norah Jones fans may however find basic Hydro-power best as it is much calmer, soporific even.
