    hi all

just found what i believe is something "amiss" with one of my cdm1nts, one speaker seems to sound (nasal /congested) with vocals , in the midrange, with accoustic material it seems ok.

have checked mounting bolts/cables all seems ok ,

'Nasal' is usually around 2kHz. I don't know your speakers and wonder if there could be a problem with the crossover. What is the drive unit configuration and where do they crossover?

Are your speakers placed similarly...

Maybe the one that sounds bad is closer to walls or cabinets, and maybe the first reflection is too "strong", or it is just defective...

Antonio, is this some sort of attempt to overtake me in the postings chart?

Swap them over to first ensure that it's a speaker related problem. If the problem follows the speaker then you know where to start checking.

I hadn't noticed, but now that I am warned, the war is on... :gatling:

    Michaels,

Voodoo is right on the money, easy way to check if the speaker is defective... :MILD:
