As the title, what do you think of this older player?

Used to own one with a Flatcap 2, decent combination as far as I was concerned. Upgraded to a Consonance CD2.2 Linear which was a little more detailed and lush with a slight reduction in attack.

Have since grabbed a Lyngdorf, which is the best digital source I have heard (within a 2nd hand budget of £1k anyway).

Build quality of the Naim was exemplary, I reckon it would still be going fine now 2 1/2 years after I let it go (and it was about 5-6 years old when I got it). As long as you don't mind DIN connections, there's not much wrong with it in my opinion. I haven't heard any of Naim's later CD spinners (5i, 5x etc) so I couldn't say whether or not they are an improvement.
