Opinions re Mission Mechanic Tonearm and NOW Rega RB 1000

    VN, so how much is a new MM? Can we please have some more glamour shots? What's the arm made of: aluminium, titanium etc

    the 'new mechanic', well, it's machined from aluminum, bearing housing is tool steel, double the weight of a Zeta or MM..etc, I use mine with a decca, as the huge effective mass of the arm helps control the madness of a supergold......'if' a finalised arm cam e to market, it would be in the 5-7k region

    Hi VN, a little OTP surely, its only a teensy, plastic woobly groove that's being traced after all!

    BTW the guy selling the MM didn't come thro' in the end even though a deal had been done, so its back to square one.

    Anyone got (genuine and reasoned) opinions on the Rega RB1000, this I can currently buy new for £675.
