    Some advice please!
My Linn Intek amp is about 15+ years old. It is used regularley - most days. It is It is rarley switched off as it takes about 1/2 to warm up. It is sounding, and has been for as while, somewhat muddied and as if has has lots some of its 'guts'. It just doesn'tsound as clear and as musical as it should. The lower end doesnt seem to have any real power. I know it is not the most sophisicated of amps, but it was good value in its day. I have been wondering if it could be the output caps that are giving up. I seem to remember a thread with the info that caps can start to give up after about 10 years. I can't afford to replace the amp, but is it worth replacing the caps and what with and where from?
    Any help appreciated.
