Just acquired Strangeitude by the Ozrics and must say am really enjoying it.

Tis my first Ozrics album. Just wondered how it compares with the rest of their output stylewise??

    Any others worth considering?

I can't really recommend a specific Ozrics lp, but if you like their sound I would definitely recommend hearing some Eat Static if you haven't already - spin off band from Ozrics and most excellent to see live. More dance oriented but still have that tripped out sound.

Jeff, a must buy is 'The Hidden step' also 'Erpland', waterfall cities is interesting, Aborensece for a seriously surreal outake of life :D and 'afterwish' for a round up of the early stuff. T.

amazon were doing some great deals on ozric cd's a while ago. they had 2 albums in a twin pack for 9 quid or so. imo the best is hidden step - the rest are very noodley.

just checked they still are HERE
also try the floating seeds remix album.
if you like them try eat static - the alien ep's is my fave here although it's not exactly the same.
also try some gong - camembert electrique is good.
    cheers

Check out their 1st "proper" cd - Pungent Effulgent.
Then put on "Kick Muck" and turn it up... Bit bass light and 80's digital sounding but you can imagine how good it could be!

 To WM and Julian for the Hidden Steps recommendation. Haven't been able to stop listening to it since I got it last week :D

I'll agree with that - totally mind blowing - saw them at the Stratford Rex last March (has it really been a year!?) and they were ace!

Hidden Step is very very good... ;)
