I already have Erpland and The Hidden Step by Ozric Tentacles and I like them very much.

101cd.com have a special offer on some other single and double CDs by the Ozrics. Are any of these worth getting? Are they similar or different or what? They are:

    Become The Other
    Pungent Effulgent + Strangeitude
    Tantric Obstacles + Erpsongs
The Bits Between The Bits + Sliding
    There Is Nothing Live

    All at a nice wallet-friendly £5.99 each :)

another big thumbs up from me too. top tunes although they do tend to recycle songs / themes across albums so you end up with things sounding a bit familiar. still the gems to be discovered are worth it.
    cheers

Agree with julian, can be a bit samey, strangeitude is the best to these ears. Still very good, and well recoded to boot.

They have started the process of remastering the Ozrics back catalogue. I think there's a good few of them out now as remasters in digi-packs. These double packs are the unremastered versions, well worth picking up for the money. I've heard the remasters of Strangeitude, Erpland and Live Underslunky and all are a marked improvement. Having a load of those double CD issues though, I'm not likely to replace any more than I already have.

Live At The Pongmasters Ball was in a 2 for £12.99 at Play.com recently as well. Recommend that one!

Abduction is a GREAT album - I got it for £3 (Smack Generators) after hearing them live; both the Ozrics and Eat Static are phenomenal live acts to see "in the flesh" :)
